Service, publisher, and eligibility

GameControllerTest.com is operated by JSAN Media and provides browser-based controller diagnostics, educational content, local report tools, optional member accounts and cloud reports, and a scoped application programming interface. You must be legally able to accept these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

Accounts and credentials

You are responsible for accurate registration information, a strong and unique password, activity through your account, and the security of any API key you create or receive. Do not share credentials, attempt to obtain another member’s access, or use a role or scope you are not authorized to use. Notify us promptly if credentials may be compromised.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate an account or key to protect the service, enforce these terms, respond to legal requirements, or address fraud or abuse. A member may export available account data and may delete the account through the provided controls. Deletion is subject to the retention and legal exceptions explained in the privacy policy.

Local and cloud reports

Local My Lab reports remain in the browser where they were saved. Cloud reports are created only when a signed-in member deliberately imports or saves a completed report. You retain responsibility for report data you submit and grant JSAN Media a limited license to host, copy, process, and display it solely as needed to provide, secure, and maintain the requested account feature.

Do not upload personal information you do not have permission to process, malicious content, secrets, or unlawful material. Back up or export any report you need. Browser storage can be cleared, and online storage can be interrupted, changed, or lost despite reasonable safeguards.

Diagnostic limitations

Results describe data exposed by the current browser and operating system. They can be affected by drivers, firmware, controller mode, cable or wireless connection, remapping software, browser scheduling, and game-specific processing. The service does not certify safety, authenticity, repair quality, warranty eligibility, or fitness for a particular game or transaction.

We do not promise that every controller, button, haptic feature, browser, operating system, or device will be supported. We also do not promise a repair outcome, advertising approval, monetization level, visitor count, indexing status, or search-engine ranking.

Acceptable use

• ✓Use the site only for lawful controller testing and learning
• ✓Do not interfere with security, availability, or other visitors
• ✓Do not scrape at a level that degrades the service or bypass access controls
• ✓Do not inject malicious code, impersonate the site, or misrepresent test results
• ✓Do not use advertising or site controls to generate invalid clicks or impressions

API use

The API is limited to documented routes and the scopes assigned to a key. You may not use it to bypass the application, execute arbitrary database queries or server commands, probe the filesystem, evade rate limits, publish deceptive material, or expose personal information. Treat a bearer key like a password, transmit it only over HTTPS, and rotate or revoke it when no longer needed.

API behavior, scopes, limits, and routes may change to protect security or improve the product. Automated or AI-assisted use remains the account holder’s responsibility. A person must review any drafted content, integration change, or other consequential action before relying on or publishing it.

Intellectual property

The site design, original text, test logic, branding, and compilation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to use the public service for personal or internal business purposes. They do not transfer ownership.

Third-party controller and platform names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

Feedback and external services

If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you, while retaining ownership of your original material. Links or third-party services are provided for convenience and have their own terms and privacy practices.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, noninfringement, and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameControllerTest.com, JSAN Media, and their service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or opportunity; or decisions based on diagnostic results. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the service during the preceding 12 months. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes, suspension, and law

JSAN Media may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these terms. Continued use after an effective update means acceptance where allowed by law. These terms are governed by applicable United States law without overriding mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction. Contact us first about a dispute so we can try to resolve it informally.
